Self-Help’ follows the chronically insecure Lola as she navigates her adoration to worship of cult self-help guru, Thomas.  We explore Lola’s journey through meeting Thomas and being ‘accepted’ onto his private getaway where she is guaranteed to better herself. However, we soon realise that absolute power is reliant on control and when Lola’s belief in Thomas’ words grows out of control - where does the power lie?
